Recipe:
Card Base - Stampin Up Not Quite Navy (4 1/4 X 5 1/2 folded)
Card Front - SU Pretty in Pink DP (4 X 5 1/4)
I stamped the main image in Basic Brown, colored it with PrimaPencils and blended with Gamsol (odorless Mineral Spirits)
I used my Oval Nestibilites and Scallops for main image layered in White, Pretty in Pink, Not Quite Navy, Really Rust. I don't think I ever make a card without using my nestibilities anymore!!
The sentiments were stamped in Not Quite Navy and layered with Pretty in Pink then Not Quite Navy.
The Not Quite Navy strip was embossing with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and swiped gently with SU Craft White ink.
The corner was done with SU Photo Corner Punch in Not Quite Navy and Really Rust.
I used eyelets for the embellishments on the edge. I haven't used eyelets in sooooo long, and I have so many!!! AHHHHH! Eyelets! I haven't used them in FOREVER and have sooooo many! I like the way I can see the NQN coming through. I might just have to start using Eyelets more again! Maybe I'll start an old trend????? Or rather bring it back???? Whatever!
Stamp sets: SU Retired Birthday Greetings and Crazy for Cupcakes
For finishing touches I used Stickles on the frosting of the cupcakes. I hope you can see the Sparking Yummy Frosting!
