A Card for Mother

More Splitcoast challenges!  I just love a good challenge.  This card is for last week's color and sketch challenge.  If you like to make cards and love challenges you should check them out!  Splitcoaststampers

I made this card for my wonderful mother, just cause I love her!  Plus, I know she will keep it forever, lol!  Don't you love making cards for people you know will not only love getting a handmade card but will cherish it!  And she deserves it!  She doesn't live as close as I would like and can't be here as much as I would like, but does a great job of staying in touch with a daughter who isn't so good at it!

I am so blessed to call her ............  Mother!   The sentiment says it all!

I also wanted to give a shout out to Verve Stamps!  They are one of my newest addictions.

Card Base: Crushed Curry 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)

Other: White 2 1/2" X 3 1/4", Bravo Burgandy for layers, Basic Gray DP 5 1/2" X 1 1/2", Basic Gray 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" ran through Provo Craft Cuttlebug with Textile embossing folder then inked w/ Basic Gray for extra depth (not that it really needed it)

Ink: SU Crushed Curry, Basic Gray, Bravo Burgandy

Stamps: Verve Stamps:  Petals & Stems, Because of You

Accessories: Spellbinders Nestibilities Rectangles, Su Round Tab Punch, Burgandy ribbon from my stash, Flowers and Brad, again, from my stash!  But don't they match perfectly!

I stamped the butterfly with Crushed Curry on my layer and then on a scrap and cut it out then used a glue dot only on the center and folded the wings up to add a little 3-D effect!  Adorable little butterfly!
