Where the heck have I been?

Well ........  The month of May was absolutely crazy around here with all the end of the school year award ceremonies, programs, band and choir concerts, and getting ready for my oldest daughter's graduation.  The announcements turned out really cute and we got a lot of great compliments.  I will post a picture and description soon.  Plus, my husband, the other watcher of the little kids so I can craft, has been working on finishing up his masters! However, with all the craziness that is probably not the main reason I have been MIA.  It is more due to the fact that I have been sick.  I have the nine month disease!!!  Yes, about a week before my 40th birthday I found out that I am pregnant!!  40 and Pregnant!  Do you think TLC will be calling to do my show?

I have been so tired and thankfully only just a little nauseous (all day long!  Who said is was MORNING sickness!!!) that I have only been doing what is absolutely necessary and relying a great deal on the rest of the family to pick up the slack.  My house is a wreck, there have been days when I haven't even seen the inside of my craft room, we have been eating take out a lot, but we are alive!  I am (cross your fingers) coming out of the worst stage, that first trimester and hopefully will be crafting more.

Thank you all for your continued support!

Have a great crafting day!

  8. Congratulations! You will feel better soon. My friend was 45 when she got PG. I thought she was nuts. She loves being a mom at that age and has more time to spend with her son than she did with the older boys. God is good.
    Take good care of yourself

  18. I love your baby story :) I'm a new follower and read your headline. I was smiling when I read this because I have 3 chldren, 9,7, and 13 months. And I want more...even thoug people always say I'm nuts for wanting more kinds. My 7 year old, is a special needs child maybe this is why people suggest not to have more, but i love being Pregnant and love babies I just want more. Best Wishes to you and your family.
