Things have calmed down a little around here and I am starting to feel better and BIGGER and not like I need to sleep all the time. So....., I am finally getting these gradutaion cards uploaded and posted. My daughter helped in getting these made and put together. We made about 75!!!
I used the Cricut Cartridge "From My Kitchen" with my Gypsy to make the strip on the bottom. Any cartridge with a square or rectangle would work with either a Gypsy or Design Studio. I then just put the size "Real Dial Size" I wanted: 4.75" X .5". The Gradutaion Cap is from the Locker Talk Cartridge. Using my Cricut really helped in getting all these made. I love it for making cards and other projects but find my Cricut irreplaceable when mass producing.
Recipe:
Card Base: SU Night of Navy 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)Card front: Marigold Morning 4 X 5 1/4 ( I am so glad that this color is one of my daughter's high school colors, as I have some extra of this retired '07 In Color)
Other Cardstock / Paper: White
Ink: SU More Mustard (numbers), Night of Navy
Stamps: PTI (Papertrey Ink) For the Graduate Stamp Set - I am little disappointed in this set. The numbers that come with it did not fit together very well or in the "Class of " space. I am usually extremely happy with my PTI purchases. Anyway, I used numbers from a random set I actually got at Oriental Trading Company.
Accessories: SU Night of Navy 1/4" ribbon, Cuttlebug and Argyle embossing folder, PTI Mat Stack 1 die.
These were typed up and cut with a paper trimmer.
This is a before picture. I used my Accucut manual die cutter and the A2 Card - Pocket die.
Thanks so much for visiting my website today!
