PTI Paperdolls Challenge

I made this card a couple of weeks (or more) ago for a PTI Paperdolls Challenge.   Thanks Amy for a great sketch challenge! I so wanted to get back into the groove with the challenges I like to participate in, but just didn't have it in me to get it pictured, uploaded, and posted.  PICTURED, UPLOADED, AND POSTED, OH MY!!  However, every day I am feeling a little better and with a little more energy.  Of course, when I get into the third trimester that might be another story!!!

Recipe:
Card Base: SU  Night of Navy 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)  After doing all the graduations cards and having quite a bit of BIG "scraps" you might see a lot of cards with Night of Navy.
Card front:  SU River Rock 4 X 5 1/4
Other Cardstock / Paper:  True Thyme Retired '07 In Color
Ink: SU Night of Navy
Stamps: PTI (Papertrey Ink) All About You Additions
Accessories: Night of Navy 1/4" ribbon, 1 3/8" circle punch, A lot of different SU markers,  I painted on Iridescent Medium on the center of the flowers for a little sparkle.  I don't think the picture does it justice.

I did the "scalloped" border using a 1 3/8" circle punch!

Thanks so much for visiting!
Have a great crafting day!

  1. Very pretty card, it is great you found some "me" time to make cards. I know from being pregnant at 41 it is not easy and to have 6 kids, makes it tougher, but sounds like you have it all together. Congrats on the newest one coming to your family.

  5. This is so is beautiful. I love how elegant your creations are.

I found your blog from your YouTube video showing how to restick a mat with Tack it Over and Over...SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO love that method thanks so much for sharing it.

I was looking for videos on how this is used for unmounting wood mounted stamps and liked it so much I've shared it with countless others. I've tried many methods for refurbishing my mats but your method is my all time favorite and SO cost effective!

Congrats on your bun in the oven, praying for a healthy and uneventful pregnancy.

    God Bless,
    Faith

  7. I agree with everyone else - your coloring is great on those flowers. Using navy as the mat is wonderful too - great color combo!
