Cricut! Not just for crafts!

I am the Wolf Den Leader in our church and we (the Wolves) were assigned to do a skit or game for our monthly pack meeting.  We had recently worked on an achievement in a den meeting that involved singing songs and the boys would get additional credit if they sang one at pack meeting.  The song we choose is about a train and to the tune of Yankee Doodle.  It was so cute!

SO.......... I decided to cut out trains from just about any cartridge I own that has a train or train car on it.  Which includes Everyday Paper Dolls, Learning Curve, My Community, and My World.  I think that it is!  So many trains!  Who knew!

Here's my little Wolf Cub Scouts!  Aren't they cute!  I got so many compliments on the trains!  I felt almost guilty because it was sooooo easy!

 FYI, I'm behind the Camara!
Thank goodness I am already as big as a house!!!
The trains were cut at different sizes.
I used 12 X 12 cardstock and used Fit to Page options on my Expression.

Thanks so much for visiting my little corner of the internet!

Have a great crafting day!

  1. Cute 10 yr old loves using the Cricut for school projects. Like your card on the next post too, simple yet stunning.

  2. What a great idea! Your "wolves" look so cute up there, and I'm sure they really enjoyed the train idea too. My boys use my cricut for school, mostly just the letters. One of their friends who teamed up for a 9th grade project was trying to convince his parents that they should get one too. :)

  3. Laurie do you ever sleep? You are amazing I wish I had a fraction on your energy. I love the trains and the boys are so cute with their trains.
    Thank you for sharing
