Not a Creature was Stirring!

I decided to take this week's color challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers:  Baja Cajun Wasabis and work on getting some more of my Christmas cards done.  One at a time!!!  Plus, I just got in some new Papertrey Ink stamps.  These colors maybe aren't "traditional" Christmas colors but I think they turned out alright.  I maybe would have added another color that had some red in it.  The Cajun Craze is a great color for the mouse but I think some red would make it look a little more like a Christmas card.

Here is what I came up with!  I hope you like it!

Mouse was cut at 2 1/2".
I had actually already put the base of my card together and didn't like the way the mouse was going to fit.  So I used the flip feature on my Cricut!

 Recipe:
Card Base: SU  Wild Wasabi 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)
Card front:  Baja Breeze 4" X 5 1/4" layered on Cajun Craze 4 1/8" X 5 3/8"
Other Cardstock / Paper:  SU Cajun Craze, Black
Ink: Baja Breeze, Cajun Craze
Stamps:  PTI Background Basics: Christmas, 2008 Holiday Tag Collection
Accessories:  Cuttlebug & Snow Dots embossing folder, distressing tool, Ribbon from a dollar store, Black marker for eyes, SU Oval punches, Cricut & Animal Kindom
