happy birthday card - Play Date Cafe Challenge

I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!  I had this ready to post last night, all but the picture.  I was having some techinical difficulties with my computer reading my memory stick.  I don't usually do any blogging except for family updates on Sundays, but I didn't want this to wait until Monday.  So I am quickly saying Hi!, adding my picture, and then off to spend the rest of my Sunday with my family.  My husband is making the popcorn for a family movie and the smell is calling me!!!!

I found out from a friend, Amber at Momma Scraps, about another great challenge over on The Play Date Cafe.  This is my first time participating and from what I can tell they post a different color challenge every Wednesday.  This week even includes a prize!  Here's the challenge (PDCC54):

I used Stampin Up Cardstock:  Peach Parfait, Certainly Celery and White.

Here's what I came up with.  WHAT NO CRICUT!!!!

Recipe:
Card Base: SU  Peach Parfait 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)
Card front: Certainly Celery 4" X 5 1/4"
Other Cardstock / Paper:  SU Certainly Celerly DP, Peach Parfait DP, White
Ink: Peach Parfait, Certainly Celery
Stamps:  SU Teeny Tiny Wishes, PTI Floral Frenzy
Accessories:  Ribbon from Dollar Tree!, SU Word Window and Modern Label punches, button, brads from Oriental Trading Company, sponge

Thanks so much for visiting me while I am
Hiding in My Craft Room!

Have a great crafting day!
