I made this Valentine's Day card for one of the many men if my life. I haven't decided which one! LOL! Which happened to be the challenge this week over on Cricut Cardz to make a Valentine's Day card for a man. Plus, I needed a card for a man. I have a husband, a grown son, a teenage son, a five year old son and a four year old son and an 8 week old son (but I don't think I will worry about him this year!).
Another challenge I have recently been checking out and participating in when I can is Jitterbuggin Challenge. This week's challenge was to make a Non-Traditional Valentine's Day Card with NO pink or red. Go me! Two challenges! I really shouldn't be tooting my own horn. I have seen people who complete 4-5 challenge with one card, layout, or project! They just takes too much thinking and organizing for me!
Here's what I came up with:
Recipe:
Card Base: SU River Rock 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)
Card front: Wild Wasabi 4" X 5 1/4", Early Expresso 4 1/8" X 5 3/8"
Other Cardstock / Paper: SU Apple Cider DP, Really Rust, Early Expresso
Ink: SU Early Expresso
Stamps: SU Teeny Tiny Wishes, Pink by Design "Go Green"
Accessories: Cricut & Creat a Critter Cartridge, SU word window & modern label puches, Wild Wasabi ribbon, Cuttlebug & D'Vine Swirl & Swiss Dots embossing folders
Thanks so much for visiting me while I am
Hiding in My Craft Room!
