One of my blogging friends, Anne Marie, mentioned The Color Dare challenge blog a while back and I've been wanting to participate ever since, and when I saw this weeks colors I knew I just had to. Obviously I like these color since at my last Stampin Up stamp club I ordered two out of the three colors!! It's destiny! The challenge was to use Night of Navy, River Rock, and Marina Mist.
I decided to make a male birthday card. It's seems like I never have enough of those! I really like the way it turned out. I hope you like it too!
Here's what I came up with:
Recipe:
Card Base: SU Night of Navy 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)Card front: River Rock 4" X 5 1/4"; Marina Mist 4 1/8" X 5 3/8"
Other Cardstock / Paper: Night of Navy DP, Chocolate Chip, makingmemories from Just Chillin' Boy pack
Ink: Night of Navy
Stamps: PTI Polka Dots Basics, Round & Round (sentiment) Papertrey Ink has so many sentiments stamps that fit perfectly in the SU or other punches!
Accessories: Marina Mist ribbon, SU word window & modern label puches, Cuttlebug & Argyle embossing folder, Cricut & "Just Because" Cartridge
