My Paper Addiction!

Hi!  My name is Laurie and I'm addicted to Paper!

My 12 X 12 solid cardstock in a rolling file

My 8 1/2 X 11 cardstock

My 12 X 12 Paper Pack on a bookshelf in my craft room closet!
Yes, I have duplicates because I forget!!!

This is how I store my scraps sorted by color.
If I don't have time to file colors I just stick it in the back until I can get to it.

My Stampin Up Designer paper packs
Yes, there might be some more in the storage in the picture but I'm not telling!

I used to be a BIG TIME paper hoarder but I am doing better at that!  Plus, I'm finding that the more I use what I have the less I seem to buy.  Maybe it's because I'm actually SEEING what I already have!!

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day and found some GREAT sales!  I DID!  And I must shamelessly admit that I bought some more paper stacks!!

Now I don't feel so guilty about having so much paper..lol. You should see all the paper that I have!! It is CRAZY! Right now everything is all packed up because we are selling our house and building a new house with a all exclusive Two Pink Peas Craft Room which I am SO excited about. I love to see all of the craft items that other crafters have so thanks so much for sharing. And in my honest opinion, there is nothing wrong with having to much paper.. I would rather have to much then not enough! So to me it is a good problem to have..lol. Have a great night!! Terri M of Two Pink Peas www.twopinkpeas.blogspot.com

I'm like you, I have so much! It seems like I'll never use it up, and yet I bought a couple of new slabs on sale as well this weekend, too good of deal, go figure! Just got a new E2, so I figured, "I'll use it!"

I used to teach, so that's how this "attachment" started. Now I don't have an excuse though.... Like so many others I too am a paper addict!! lol

The person who dies with the most paper wins! Wish I had nice shelves like that, mine is all piled on two shelves and in boxes...very hard to find anything.
Thanks for sharing

You are not the only one to have duplicates. I have two Imagine cartridges, Snow Angel and Better Together, that I won on two different occasions from Ebay. Not thinking and just bid. They are unopened, BNIB with reward points intact. Guess that will teach me a lesson to be more insightful.

Love your site, read it all the time. Eight kids and still crafting. Congratulations, Laurie.

LOL! Mine used to look that bad. I finally made the decision not to purchase anymore until I used some of what I had. I have acutally used about half now. Guess I can start buying again now. ;-)

Me too! I just cleared out a bunch of older stuff and either sold it or donated to our local 4-H scrapbook club.

I am trying to use up DSP before it retires! It is so pretty, it is hard to cut it. Thanks for making me feel better about my habit! LOL

ROLF! OH dear you are bot alone! Besides my paper cart which is filled with the cropper Hopper shelf int a closet, another 12 X 12 craft cube, and have filled assorted drawers and containers in my craft room with paper. (and then some). I have to start using the old but with all this new beautiful paper it is so hard.

So Paper Addicts unite and know you are not alone ;)

You make me feel better about the 3 patterned paper packs and several packs of cardstock. Thank you.

Laurie, we crafters just have to have plenty of options at hand! I wish my addiction was just to paper - i have lots of paper, stamps, embellishments, you name it. The stash just grows and grows... I am also a fused glass artist so there is glass, slumping molds, jewelry findings and power tools as well. I have a glass studio, a craft studio and a custom built storage room. It is a hopelessly incurable condition, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Just enjoy the fun, everyone!
