Super Simple Quick Card!

My dad for as long as I can remember for Christmas has given me office suppies, like calenders, pens and pencils, with my uncle's business logo on them. I have always loved these gifts, as a child, even as a teenager and adult. Yes, I'm a nerd! Anyway, I decided a while back to use one of the pocket calenders to help me keep track of the different challenges I like to check on. I also have this post of challenges, but if I don't not only check on them but write them down as well I don't remember.  So yesterday when I didn't have a lot of time to craft I decided to make a super quick card but complete 2 challenges and when I went to write up the post to my horror I was too late for one of them.  I was running late and needed to get ready so I just threw my hands up in the air and figured I could just wait until later to post it.  Well, later never came or it was too much later if you know what I mean!  The challenge I barely missed was The Play Date Cafe.  This week was the Color splash challenge: black & white with a splash of GREEN.  You can still check out the others who actually made it in time HERE!

The second challenge is over on Papertrey Paper Dolls, a blog group I'm in.  I haven't had time to do one of our challenges in a while and figured I better before they kick me out of the group!  ; )  The challenge is to make a wedding or anniversary card.  I have a niece getting married soon.  I think I will use this design but change the splash of color to her wedding color if I can find out in time.  If you are still reading, I'm soooo sorry for such a long post!

And it keeps getting longer!  I remembered that The Paper Players challenge for the fifth week each month is anything goes!  So WOOHOO!  I did make it for two challenges after all!  I feel so much better now!

  5. Love this colour combination! Such an elegant looking card. I sure can relate to missing challenge dates. Many times, the deadline comes and goes and I'm left with a half-finished card.
