Getting Christmas cards done!

I'm trying to get those Christmas cards done!

I was recently visiting the Papertrey Paper Dolls blogs and came across THIS card on the other Laurie's blog.  She uses an SVG file that she bought but it got me thinking that surely in my arsenal of Cricut images I can create this beauty or at least something close.  I found what I was looking for in the Flower Shoppe Cricut Cartridge!

I also used this week's MojoMonday #215 sketch challenge for inspiration!

Here's what I came up with:

Poinsettia was cut at 3" and 2.5" using the Sunflower image from the Flower Shoppe cartridge.
The center red piece is from the Mum image cut at 3".
The yellow center is also the Sunflower center cut at 3".
The leaves are the same as the large red pieces but cut at 3.5".
I cut off one of the petals and off centered it a bit using dimensionals to pop it up.
Recipe:
Card Base: SU  Marigold Morning 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)
Card front:    SU Cranberry Crisp 4 1/8" X 5 3/8",  My Mind's Eye 'Countdown to Christmas'  4" X 5 1/4"
Other Cardstock / Paper:   DCWV 'Tis the Season,
Ink:  Cranberry Crisp
Stamps:   SU Teeny Tiny Wishes
Accessories:  Cricut & Flower Shop cartridge, Cuttlebug & Distressed Stripes and Mesh embossing folders,  rhinestones, SU punches

Thanks so much for visiting me while I am
