HIMCR #20 - Super Scraps Saturday with a Twist!

Happy Saturday!!

The challenge this week, the 2nd week of the month, is SUPER SCRAPS SATURDAY!  But this time it's with a little twist!  Do you have a bin like me?  Full of die cuts, stamped images, even colored images, etc.  I call this my 'almost a card' bin!!

Unfortunately this is not my only 'scrap' bin!

The challenge this time is to make SOMETHING using your 'almost a card' stash.  Remember these challenges are for fun and to get entered into the giveaway, of course!  So if you don't have everything just do the best you can to follow the challenge but NO STRESS! You have until Friday, November 18th to link up your creation to get entered into the monthly drawing (which I promise to get pictured and posted!).

Here's what I came up with:

Recipe:  (for the complete recipe I will have to do a little more research!)
Card Base: SU Taken with Teal 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)
Card front:   Barely Banana 4" X 5 1/4"
Other Cardstock / Paper:   White, Chocolate Chip, blue?
Ink:  Chocolate Chip
Stamps:  SU Vintage Labels & ?
Accessories: EK Success punches, scrap ribbon,

You can see the HIMCR schedule of challenges and guidelines HERE!  Please be sure and follow the few easy guidelines so your creation will get entered into the monthly giveaway!!!

Just a few guidelines:
1.  The current weekly challenge linky will be up until Friday night at midnight MST.  Be sure and link your creation back to the actual post and not just your blog home page.
2.  When posting your creation on your blog or online gallery please link it back to this challenge.  This helps me to spread the word and the FUN!
3.  Please create something new for the current challenge and NOT use something you've made previously.  However, you can combine a HIMCR challenge with other challenges. It is always fun to complete more than one challenge at a time!
4.  The winner of the monthly giveaway will be posted the 8th of the following month!
5. Have FUN!!
6. Let me know if I forgot something!

Thanks so much for visiting me while I am
Hiding in My Craft Room!

  1. What a great card and way to use your stash! Love the horse image being the horse lover that I am.

  2. “Do your little bit of good where you are; it's those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.” by

  3. Wonderful in using up bits & pieces of die cuts. I entered my Happy December Birthday Card in which I used a green tree I had some punched of in my 'almost a card' bin.
