Happy Saturday!!
The challenge this week, the 2nd week of the month, is SUPER SCRAPS SATURDAY! So dig out those scraps and create any paper project. I love using my scraps! I should really do it more often!

I can't believe we are already on challenge #24!! You have until Friday, December 16th to link up your creation to get entered into the monthly drawing this week.
Here's what I came up with:
Trees were cut at various sizes from SCRAPS using Art Philosophy cartridge!! The stamped tree was cut at 3 3/4" as instructed by the stamp set.
Frame was cut at 3.5"
Recipe:
Card Base: SU Always Artichoke 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)
Card front: SU Real Red 4 1/8" X 5 3/8"
Other Cardstock / Paper: Various DP scraps from other projects
Ink: Bravo Burgundy
Stamps: CTMH, PTI Mixed Messages? (The little tab I found in my scrap pieces bin!)
Accessories: Cricut & Art Philosophy Cartridge, SU Ribbon Originals 'Theater', Recollection Opague Marker Snow (My new favorite white! So much better than the Gel Pen!)
You can see the HIMCR schedule of challenges and guidelines HERE! Please be sure and follow the few easy guidelines so your creation will get entered into the monthly giveaway!!!
Just a few guidelines:
1. The current weekly challenge linky will be up until Friday night at midnight MST. Be sure and link your creation back to the actual post and not just your blog home page.
2. When posting your creation on your blog or online gallery please link it back to this challenge. This helps me to spread the word and the FUN!
3. Please create something new for the current challenge and NOT use something you've made previously. However, you can combine a HIMCR challenge with other challenges. It is always fun to complete more than one challenge at a time!
4. The winner of the monthly giveaway will be posted the 8th of the following month!
5. Have FUN!!
6. Let me know if I forgot something!
Thanks so much for visiting me while I am
Hiding in My Craft Room!
Great way to use up those scraps! I need to do that more often too.
ReplyDeleteFun blend of patterns!!
ReplyDeleteEspecially like the flocking on the tree in the foreground. Entered my Jingle Bell Tag/Ornament in which I used scraps of Kraft cardstock & ribbon leftover from Christmas last yr.

ReplyDeleteI was able to use scraps for this mug entirely, even the snowflake border was from a strip left from a layout. Thanks for the fun challenge!
ReplyDeleteCute!!
