It Came Already!
I'm super excited! My New Cricut Expression 2 came via UPS yesterday!
Here's a video introduction to the new machine! It's really cool! I can't wait to see what all it can do.

So I made this for Cricut Cardz challenge but missed the deadline by 45 minutes!! GRRRR!!
Oh well, I will still need this card, but I can't say for sure who will get it. My mother is probably my biggest fan and most loyal reader! HI MOM!!
The challenge was to make a Mother's Day card! I did veer from my ABC cricut challenge, but I DID use a new PTI stamp set (another challenge of mine): Bitty Background Blocks. This is such a great versatile set! I used it on the middle of the flower.
edit: I was contacted and told that my card qualifies for a Mother's Day challenge over on Hand Stamped Sentiment blog! Thank you Genny!
Here's what I came up with:
I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! We did! We kept it simple, just spent time as a family. Then Sunday we went to church and afterward had friends over for an Easter dinner. The kids played; the adults visited. A perfect end to a really nice weekend.
I am thankful for this time of year to reflect on Jesus Christ, his life, the Atonement, and the Resurrection. I know I should think about it at all times but sometimes life gets so hectic and busy it takes a special holiday to help me remember.
Happy belated Easter!!!
The winner picked using random.org is .....

Thanks so much to everyone for their participation and support!!
For some reason some of my Contact Me emails have been going into my junk mail folder. I think I have fixed the problem. I will be working on answering all your questions over the weekend. If I haven't replied to you my Monday please send it to me again as I don't know if I got to them all in time. Some might have been automatically deleted from my junk mail folder.
Sorry for any inconvenience! I love hearing from you!!
I made this scrapbook page for some great pictures we took last year when we went home (my home) to Arkansas and my dad took us fishing. The kids LOVED it! My poor seven year old still remembers that she didn't get a fish which she brought up when she saw the page! We, of course, were doing catch and release. My dad even caught a fish and tried to trick her and let her 'catch' it, but it didn't work. It was the one that got away! I don't know who was more upset my, then, 6 year old or my dad! He tries his best to make everything perfect.
My mom does her part! I usually gain 3 pounds from her cooking when we visit!!!
Oh, and I haven't forgotten about my cricut challenge! Letter E: Everyday Paper Dolls is the cart I used for the little fisher, the fish, and the water. I used Cindy Loo cartridge for the letters.
Okay, so I'm probably the last person in the crafting world to play with felt and I thought I would just buy some cheap felt at wal-mart! Well, my cricut wouldn't cut it even on multi-cut and then I decided to try my PTI dies and when that didn't work I figured out it must be the felt! It is, like I said, just some cheap felt in the kid crafts section. So I had to get out the big guns! I used my Accucut, a professional manual cutter, which will cut ANYTHING, I think!!!
Papertrey Ink and Stampin Up Color Comparison
I have searched and searched and could not find a comparison chart of Papertrey Ink colors and Stampin Up Colors. So, I decide to make my own.
Hey all!! or Hey Y'all!! as I have been known to say just a few times! ; )
I've decided to host on National Scrapbooking Day, May 7th, some fun challenges and prizes!! My hubby will be leaving the country for several months (yes, I'm a military wife and can't say much more than that) so I can't go to a scrapbooking / crafting event that I like to attend so I decided to have my own!! I hope you all will join me! I'll have more details later. Just mark your calenders! One month from today!!!
Don't you just love it when things work out! Well, my daughter's friend is having a Paris themed birthday party this weekend and guess what? Destinations Cricut cartridge has an Eiffel tower image! Starts with D! The next letter in my Cricut ABC challenge and I don't think I had used this cart before!!!
So since I don't speak french I had to call my oldest who served a mission for our church in the West Indies and does speak french. I wanted to make the birthday card just right for her Paris party! Of course, it says Happy Birthday!! But don't ask me how to pronounce it, but when my son says it, it sounds heavenly!
Here's what I came up with:
I can't believe that I'm only 8 away from 300 blog followers and have so many additional subscribed readers!!
When I reach 300 I'm going to do another blog giveaway! I just got an extra Stampin Up Sell-a-bration stamp set and will be including it with some other goodies!!
Thank you so much!!
The design team for Cropchocolate.com were challenged to make a 'Spring' or Easter themed project.
Here's what I came up with:
I thought I better let everyone know that I'm still here! I just had a busy week last week from kindergarten round up to a kid's birthday and everything in between. With a family our size things come up! Who am I kidding with one or 19 kids, like the Dugger's on TLC, things happen!! Family first!
Also, in our church twice a year we have what's called General Conference where we get to hear from church leaders via satellite. It's on Saturday and Sunday; so my weekend was full of family and spirituality!
I'm still here and have some fun things to share with you this week including a couple of new videos!!
