I'm in the fabulous blog group, The Paper Dolls, formerly The Papertrey Paper Dolls. We are trying to revamp our group and get back to hosting monthly challenges. Here's the link to our blog: The Paper Dolls. Our new challenge, hosted by Renne and Suzanne is Spring Bling! AND generous Renee is offering a some blog candy for a random participant in the challenge! You can get all the details HERE!
Here's what I came up with for the challenge:
The sentiment frame is cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge at 2 1/4" and 2 1/2".
I tried to get a good picture of my shimmery bird!
I painted her with Iridescent Medium and used a white pen to add an eye.
Bird is cut from Hannah Montana cartridge at 2".
Flower was cut at 2" then stamped with Coordinating stamp from CTMH.
Leaves at 1 1/2" and 2".
Both from the Art Philosophy cartridge.
Recipe:
Card front: SU Pretty in Pink 4 1/8" X 5 3/8", DCWV the Spring Glitter Stack 4" X 5 1/4"
Other Cardstock / Paper: White, Wild Wasabi, more from the Spring Glitter Stack
Ink: Pretty in Pink (sponging), Not Quite Navy, Wild Wasabi (on leaves, using a brayer to apply ink to the embossing folder before embossing)
Stamps: CTMH Lucy, SU very retired Flowers of Gratitude
Accessories: Cricut & Art Philosophy and Hannah Montana cartridges, Cuttlebug & Floral screen embossing folder, SU Ribbon Originals District, white pen, Studio G Glitter Glue, Iridescent Medium
