This week is Super Scraps here on Hiding in My Craft Room! So the challenge is to get out your scraps and make something with them! Who doesn't love to use up some of your stash? For all the challenge details go HERE!
I had a great opportunity to use some stash last week and conveniently for me I haven't shared it yet! :)
My son asked me the night before a school project was due. Has that ever happened to you? Because with six kids still at home it happens to me a lot!
Fortunately for him and me we had tons of scraps and precuts or we would have been up LATE, LATE!
The letters were cut from Cricut Alphabet.
The doghouse was cut from Animal Kingdom at 3.5".
The dog is a Sizzix die cut.
The Squirrel is from Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge at 1.5" and 3".
I have Paperdolls cartridges but sometimes it's easier and quicker to just cut them out the old fashioned way
Plus, my daughter used to sell Dolls and clothes sets and we had most of them left over from that!
The rest were cut from scraps!
For the faces I used Peachy Keen stamps and these are a must have!
What a great project! This is awesome!!!

Wonderful 'niche' story. The story should be published. Did your son write the story? I miss the days when my daughter was younger and had school projects like this. Now she is a sr in college and will graduate next yr.
