Lots of Die Cuts!

Tonight was so much fun! I was asked to teach the 10 and 11 year old girls in our Ward (church family) how to make a couple of 'Thank You' cards. They are working on signing off being greatful in their activity program. I'm so thankful that they asked me! The girls were so much fun and talented!

The challenge this week is to use Die Cuts! Boy, did I use some die cuts this week! And it's only Tuesday! :) You can see all the details of the challenge and how to get into the giveaway this week HERE! Two winners this week!

There are 15 girls in their class! So times all the cut out images by 18 because I had to make a sample and a few extras, just in case. My little Cricut has been chirping, chirping, chirping!

Here are the two cards we made:

I mainly used the Creative Cards Cricut Cartridge, mixing and matching the cut outs. The sizes are 4 1/4" and 5 1/2" depending on the card.

The pink layer was cut from Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge at 5 1/4".

To finish their requirements the girls have send a card with a message inside telling someone 'Thank You' for whatever they are thankful for. I was so glad to get to be a small part of this activity.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Be sure and get out your Die Cut machine, punches, precuts....... And get your creation entered into the giveaway! Two winners this week!

  1. You must be superwomen! I cannot image teaching 15 girls at that age how to make one card let alone two! Both cards are adorable. TFS!

  3. I bet the girls had a wonderful time and made beautiful cards. You did a great job choosing the style and the colours! A lot of work but well worth it!
