Happy Saturday!

It's was Father/Son Camp out last night so we girls got to do a little shopping, watched some tv, and just hung out doing some girly things. This morning before the guys get home we are going to be playing in the craft room! I love girl time!

I'm Nuts about My Boys!

So the challenge this week is HIMCR #150 - Let's Hear it for the Boy!

I love making things for my boys!

I have 6 including my husband and 5 sons! This challenge is a necessity for me! LOL!

Here's what I came up with for one of my boys:

Image is from 2 Cute Ink and the scallop was cut out around it after scanning it in to my Scan N Cut! Then I cut out some mats!

Recipe:

Card Base: Soft Suede 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)

Card front: Cameo Coral 4" X 5 1/4", 3 3/4" X 5

I Love Embossing!

I really do love Embossing! And if you've been reading my blog for very long you know I love to use my embossing folders! So this week's challenge is perfect for me! :)

Here's what I came up with:

I used three different embossing folders on this!

Recipe:

Card Base: SU Pink Passion 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (folded)

Card front: Green Galore 4" X 5 1/4"

Other Cardstock / Paper: DCWV Floral Flair Stack

Ink: Pink Passion

Stamps: PTI Fillable Frames #6

Accessories: Cricut & Rock Princess cartridge, Cuttlebug & Decorative Dots, Rock Princess and Square Lattice embossing folders, ribbon, buttons

I made these for my daughter's birthday party invitations.

Rose was cut at 3.25" from the Rock Princess cartridge.

I cheated and didn't cut out all the layers of the rose so keep it a little more simple.

HIMCR #149 - Embossing!

Happy Saturday!

Sorry you haven't heard from me much this week! We have had family here visiting from Utah and we have been busy seeing sites we haven't seen and showing them some fun sites we love! We've been to San Francisco including Pier 39 and Lombard Street, Train Museum, Jelly Belly Factory, and today we are heading to Six Flags! I'm sunburnt with sore muscles but I can handle it! Bring it on!

HIMCR #149 - Embossing!

This can be any kind of Embossing! Wet or Dry! You can use embossing powder, an embossing folder, a bone folder with a scorpal, or go old school with a stylus and stencil!

Or if you don't have any of these, how about some pre-embossed paper!
