It's a happy one for us! Two days ago I had two 8 years old boys and yesterday the oldest one turned 9 and today we are having a birthday party for him! Then after that I have some crafty things I have to get done! A surprise to share!

HIMCR #170 - Embossing!

Happy Saturday!

I know it's going to be a great one for us! I have all 8 kids home and we are going to have some family pictures taken by my brother in law who is a moonlighting photographer! It's been a while since we've all been together and you never know with everyone's schedules when it will happen again! Then sadly tonight the two college aged boys will be heading back to BYU! However, my daughter who just returned home from Ukraine will be staying with us until the next semester starts! Oh, the fun we are going to have! And the stuff, hopefully, I'm able to get done with her help! Unless we just play which would be alright too! :)

Oh my what a busy busy day! I was hoping to get this posted earlier since I knew my night would be even crazier than usual! I'm typing this while my husband is driving us to the airport to pick up my oldest daughter who has spent the last 18 months serving a mission in Ukraine for our church! I've missed her so much but I know with her special spirit she has made a HUGE difference in the people she has met! I'm so proud of her I just can't stand myself! LOL!!

It's Mostly Halloween Colors!

Ok, so maybe I embellished (no pun intended) a little with the 'Halloween' Colors but I'm still sharing! :P

This week's challenge is:

And I made it VERY clear that it didn't have to necessarily be a Halloween themed project just use Halloweenish (that's a word, right?) colors. Well, I decided I wanted to not make a Halloween themed card. Not sure why because I have literally TONS of halloween papers, stamps, ribbon, you name it and I LOVE Halloween stuff! But anywho!

Here's what I came up with:

Ink: Old Olive

Stamps: Stampin Up Sending Happy Thoughts, Autumn Leaves 'second nature'

Accessories: Scan N Cut, Stickles, Copic, brads, SU ribbon, white gel pen, small stapler, dimensionals

I have some Halloween badges I have to make for my daughter's kindergarten class. So I'll hopefully have a more tradional Halloween colors project to share tomorrow!
