Challenge Delayed!

Happy Saturday!

Sorry everyone who is visiting today to find out this week's challenge. Due to my crazy move it's going to be delayed this week. I am at a hotel right now and just don't have it all together and it's almost midnight with very little sleep last night. We are hoping to get an early-ish start tomorrow and get to our new (to us) home early enough that we won't be exhausted again! So I might can get it posted for Sunday morning. If not I will definitely have the challenge up by Monday morning and will give you a full week to get your submissions ready and entered into the challenge giveaway.

AND I'll even go ahead and let you know what the challenge is so you can get started on your creations!

Which actually isn't anything you might not have already known since we are doing all this year 'Any Holiday' Challenge every fourth Saturday! Some of the HIMCR Design Team members might already have their examples posted so you can get some early inspiration. I'll have them posted here by Monday at the latest.

HIMCR #188 - Erasers!

Happy Saturday!

We've been in our new home for a week now .... sort of! We don't furniture or anything!

We brought some of our heavier items, books, cardstock, dies, paper stacks, dishes, but we leave out this morning to head back to California to meet up with the military packers to get the rest. We've painted the bedrooms and the family room. Thankfully the carpet is a brown, not the color I would have chosen perhaps, but we thought from the pictures that it was purple and we were going to rip it up! We've already had the hot water heater blow and the garage flooded with 50 gallons of water and had to rush in boxes to keep the damage down. We had the big kids here so it was all hands on deck and we saved EVERYTHING! My husband's car starter went out while he was running errands and I was at home painting. Thankfully there was a nice man who helped him and he didn't need a tow truck or me! The van battery died which was still under warranty so it was free but that took time which we needed. All in all though we got most the things done we wanted. I still some shelves done and I want to paint the new craft room which right now sadly seems to be the box stacking room. Not my choice! GRRRR! Men, they don't understand that the craft room is like hallowed ground!

HIMCR #187 - Super Scraps Saturday and Blog Hop!

Moving update:

We finally got on the road, Friday instead of Thursday! We had trailer light issues, and some minor set backs, like traffic and such so we had to stop at a hotel. It's past 1AM and of course I didn't even try to get some sleep while my husband was driving. Who can with a van full of kids that need snacks, movies, and handle their disputes! Or just hear about the cows, trains and such out the window. Anyway, I'm going to bed right now and don't have this post finished completely. I will edit it tomorrow somehow, adding the blinkie and such. We are, in honor of Valentine's day having a little blog hop. We being me and the HIMCR Design Team! FUN! With prizes! MORE FUN!

HIMCR #185 Winner!

It's late and I'm super tired! We spent the day loading up our Penske truck to head out tomorrow after the kids get out of school! Not to mention that I had to finish the Valentine's for my kids! Whose stupid idea was it to give out kettle corn the day before we move a large portion of our belongings! AND it's my kindergartener's turn to take snack and since it's their Valentine's party tomorrow it was requested that I send plain sugar cookies with frosting for them to decorate. I've already packed up my kitchen aid! Thank you Pillsbury! LOL!

A Little Birdie...

I hope everyone is having a great week! If you are reading this before 2AM on Saturday morning then there's still time to get entered into our FREESTYLE challenge! You can see all the details HERE!

Here's what I came up with:

My cute little birdie Image is a Digi Digi Doodle was cut out perfectly using my Scan N Cut!

Even the inside of my card is cute thanks to this adorable Digi Digi Doodle image!

The only thing I would change is I wish I had cut this out with the image all the way to the right to give me more room to write a message. Oh well! It's still super cute and I'm super happy with it! I hope you like it too!
